Mueskes Painting has done our interior and exterior painting work for many years. This is because my wife and I are perfectionists, and we can only work with a painter who is a perfectionist. On the exterior, Bill always paints in the proper sunlight and moisture conditions. He will not paint in bad conditions just to get the job done. This is very important to us since our house sits in a field with direct southern and northern exposures, so that one side is sometimes too hot for painting and the back side sometimes shouldn't be painted until drying out in the afternoon. On the interior, Bill always advises us about the need to maintain proper temperatures during drying, etc. Mueskes Painting was the first painter to maintain for us a list of exterior wear and tear requiring remediation (cracked boards, loose flashing, etc.). This is very helpful because he sees everything in great detail while painting. He also alerts us to conditions to be addressed such as moisture rising or pooling near wood. Proper surface prep is one of Bill's hallmarks. If there is even a hint of mildew, for example, he will remove it before painting. Bill is professional in every way. He is unobtrusive while working, and we hardly know that he is present. He makes appropriate use of drop clothes, cleans up thoroughly, etc. The most concise statement which I can make to summarize his approach toward our work is to say that he treats our home as if it were his own. We enjoy working with him and value him both professionally and personally.
